Her Foundation for Women is a Mandera County–based political and social development organization committed to improving the lives of women, girls, and vulnerable communities. Our work focuses on empowerment, education, protection, peace-building, and climate resilience—areas that directly shape the future of families across the county.

Our programs empower women to build independent, sustainable lives and become community leaders. Entrepreneurship training, small grants, leadership mentorship, financial literacy and practical skills like tailoring, ICT and agribusiness.
We strengthen peace through inter-clan dialogue, training women as peace mediators, youth prevention programs, peace education in schools and early-warning conflict response systems.
Scholarships, feeding programs, sanitary pads, school materials and adult literacy classes to keep girls and vulnerable learners in school.
Community-driven anti-FGM campaigns, leader training, safe houses, trauma counselling and anti-child marriage advocacy.
